stopped by at a local pawnshop in West Hollywood and spotted an old beat up MB 146 with missing snowcap and clip! Bought it for 40.00 dollars! Went straight to Bev Hills Montblanc and scored the cap/clip for a flat rate of 70.00 = 110.00 + tax! Not bad if you ask me!

A late 60s 149 with second generation ebonite feed with all boxes and paperwork. Oh, a nice 18C F nib. pretty flexible.

Sorry, Sunflowers. It's boxed up and ready to go to talkinghead for a test drive.

MB 146 with fine nib, a MB case, MB midnight blue and royal blue! However I am thinking to change the nib because I think fine nib is not good with midnight blue..

I recently finally bought myself a MB 149, most wonderful to write with and when I take it out and hold it in my fingers, its truly an amazing feeling. I hae started drooling over the 146 now. I need more reasons to write. Laughing. I do love my MB fountain pens.

Nice combo!

Yes ofcourse there are a lot more annual editions of their 100 year existence.

For example:

Boheme 1906

Solitaire 1906

Starwalker 100 year

My preferred supplier (no affiliation just a very happy customer):

Appelboom

Nice!

Good to know that they make normal reading glasses too.

Have not seen that on their website.

It really is a beautiful looking pen. We have one in our local MB Boutique but I holding out to see what 2011's WE will be like. If I don't like it, I'll purchase the Twain. Can't afford both just yet.

A journal and a leather two pen holder. I did get to try out all the nibs they had. No new pens however.

Most recently I bought a bottle of their new brown and the new gray ink. Looking back further I purchased a Starwalker ballpoint pen.

I was totally bowled over today - I walked into a MB store, and there on a shelf, was a Kafka!!! :yikes: One of the WE's I was still missing. They only sold it as a set. Of course I had to buy it, not caring much for the BP and pencil, but now I've got a Kafka as well, and very happy! Inked it with MB sepia, a color it deserves best.
