My first Mont Blanc ever, a 146 Medium nib platinum trim. I really like it although since I don't carry it anyway I probably should've gone for a 149 but oh well. I wanted something for daily use and the 149 felt like more of a special occasion pen due to its size. I still want to get one eventually, perhaps I'll grow accustomed to it. I don't think I'll ever buy another new one though. Their depreciation is just too great of an initial hit imo, like buying an expensive car.

Thank you, it is both bigger and heavier than i expected it to be.

Yes. I'd assumed that mine would be too small for regular use. But it soon became an everyday pen.

Possibly has my favourite nib.

Your's looks to be in stunning condition. Beautiful!

Congratulations.

Enjoy, in good health.

Thank you CS388, i don´t think it has seen much use, there are hardly any scratches on it and the celluloid is still black.

With all my MB purchases, today was the first time i was in an MB store. I was shopping in the San Antonio MB store and came across this lovely gem at a price I couldnt pass up. Its my first Boheme, and my first Sterling Silver. Sorry about the poor pics, as I am in my hotel room using an iPhone with hotel lighting.

How come you guys keep the tags on the pen (nib size's)?

In case I flip the pen, I can still say everything is "complete". If you peel off the label, it's "incomplete" :roflmho:

yeah, I keep the tag as well. Its just trying to remind me the nib size the next purchase should be. :P

And its important because I'm used to M nib for Namiki pens but that translate to F nib in MB.

The labels always seem to fade and peel off of my pens. I don't think I have a single label left. I guess I just use my pens too much

It is a use-indicator like my toothbrush. If it has fade it is time to buy a new one
