What's Your Most Recent Mb Purchase?

:clap1: Fabulous ArchiMark. Love the penwrap, love the well-used filofax, and really love your pens :D Do you have any thoughts on what is likely to go into that remaining slot?

Pavoni.

Pavoni, thanks as always for your kind words!

Penwrap is great, have several of these, each with a different inner color of micro-fiber. Outside is black denim.

Made by a great lady here on FPN....

PacificCoastPen......very reasonable, quick, great service, and a pleasure to deal with.

As for the filofax, it's actually brand new, just got it about a week ago!...

It's called the Malden in personal size, made from buffalo leather, and has a vintage look to it which I love....

This one is ochre color, but they come in several other colors...

And as for the remaining slot, that's a good question!......

Would love a 139, but don't know if that's possible....maybe one more WE pen?

That Wilde is a looker!

Thanks, BMG!...I would agree.... ;)

Thanks. Interesting that to me, the Dumas and Hemingway ends look quite similar.

You're most welcome, tenney.....yes, they're similar, but if you look closely, the Dumas has more rounded or radiused edge than the Hemi.....

Great photos of some great pens!

I didn't guess the Slimline as I have zero exposure to these pens.

I recognised each of the WE pens. The POA was between the Morgan and Copernicus, as I know both have the MOP, not held either so was not sure which it was.

I love looking at the MB emblem and its style has a large input into my overall impression of a pen. I love the slightly larger ones which have a metal trim around them - and that are quite flat.

I gotta get myself a pen with a MOP emblem :puddle:

Thanks, BrandonA, for your kind words....

Understand, as you don't see much talk about the Slimline series....

You did well, as I didn't expose that much of the pens in the penwrap photo....

Think it's fun to compare the ends of the MB pens, as they have their own identity.....

and interesting to see how MB plays with the size of the splat in their designs....

Finally my Grail Pen has come to me!

Mont Blanc Alexandre Dumas!

That is my grail pen as well, bidding on one right now! Once I get that I'm going to give my wallet a rest, as buying 4 Montblancs in the space of 3 months was a bit taxing.

Here is my latest baby though! Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe with the Raven nib!post-97899-0-82826800-1360191901.jpg

My most recent mb purchase would be a montblanc pix-o-mat.

I'm waiting for a 342 with a steno nib.

I wanted a daily writer with a XF nib and I thought this could fit the role, at least from the lone nib photo provided by the seller.

Does anyone have one? How does it write?

Oh, and congrats to everyone for your wonderful purchases.

My latest MB is the Jonathan Swift Writer's Edition with a medium Nib. It writes nice and lays down a very good wet line. Its a really nice pen, and It works most wonderfully. Guess I will keep it. Laughing. Love the Writer Editions.

The Einstein cufflinks are beautiful, they actually caught my eye in the MB window more than the FP!

I received a wonderful Le Grand Geometric Dimentions from my wife and a bottle of Winter Glow from my son today.

I love that mother-of-pearl star. Makes me want to get the Silver Barley.

I did tell Mrs Pen Nut that I had a MB item coming as, in my eyes, this does count as a single MB item ie A Tester Kit. She sees it as nine purchases but no, she is just wrong in that opinion :P

Absolutely! You can't break up a set. This is definitely a single MB purchase.

Bought, should be shipping today, looking forward to writing with it: my first Montblanc 136, steel nib, extra-fine with moderate flex, ca. 1939.
