Just received my Montblanc Agatha Christie Vermeil fountain pen.A lovely looking pen with a B nib? This pen has never been dipped so I cannot comment on how it writes.

C'mon photos!

I was just in Sydney this weekend and picked up some inks- swift, collodi, oyster grey.

Was very tempted by the l'Aubrac except for the $$$ they wanted.

My last Montblanc came with a collection of over 160 pens bought by myself and 4 other lucky participants. Many many unbelieveable pens in this collection, all vintage pens.

Here it is in all its mid-1950's celluloid goodness! The celluloid box (hard to find) is a nice touch!

That is a stunning pen and getting the box is just icing on the cake. Use it for many years to come in good health.

Went to pick up a 149, along came a Montblanc Boheme Noir and Alfred Hitchcock ink. Here is a photo of the portable Boheme and its big brother, the Diplomat. The 149 comes in an M nib, and the Boheme with a stubbish B. Both are very different pens, both are fantastic writers.

The little things really count.

Kai, how does it write?

I also have a 136 with a palladium F nib that's soft and smooth, and it is bliss to write with.

I couldn't say the same for my 234½ P nib though... :(

Congratulations on your latest acquisition. Did you buy it on Penboard.de? If so I looked at that pen and almost bought it. It has found a great home.

The iconic 149 and a bottle of winter glow ink.

I'm now eyeing a Boheme Noir... somebody stop me!

You are in the wrong place if you think our gaggle of enablers will ever discourage you from buying another MB. LOL

Thanks! Tom did mention that another buyer was considering the pen but he didn't reserve it while I clicked the button...
