The best part was that most of the pens were on sale as were the watches and handbag and wallet. I will have them all out later so that we can pack them or the trip home and will be taking pictures of everything. The only one that did not come with me was a silver pinstripe 146 because it is going in for a nib exchange(B).

It was a lot of fun being able to buy like that for a change. I'm not sure we will ever go that nuts again. The prices were just to hard to beat.

Really looking forward to see the pics. Sounds like you two had a very very good time this trip!

My most recent addition is a ... pencil.

The Oscar Wilde MP, found at my local Boutique.

A fantastic retro design and an unusual (for MB) colour...

Greetings from Italy

For me, the latest MB-purchase was the MB 146 Unicef with an M-nib.

I find this to be a very elegant version of the 146.

Definitely on my list of things to come.

Enjoy,

Inked

Just got the Jonathan Swift pen in fine, and it is gorgeous. Very smooth nib. With the different materials for body and cap, the pen is amazingly well balanced when capped. Not please that you can't post it, though. Looks like after the weirdness of the Collodi, MB decided to go back to a proven model style (Kafka with Mann color scheme).

i just received my new to me Jules Verne with a Medium Point. Ill be inking it up with Pilot Iroshizuku ion-peki or the Diamond Blue LE from Montblanc

THe blue body is much more vibrant compared to what pictures show.

If it didn't have an amber ink window I would say it was brand-new. What a beauty! Congratulations!

Wow. That 44 and 244 are gorgeous. Congratulations.

I wish I knew where you were finding these. I don't recall ever seeing a 44, let alone any MB with that coloring, for sale.

Gosh David, that 44 is beautiful :clap1: Love the tone of that pen, which is so suggestive of its time. Stunning. Many congratulations on your find.
