Very nice KJY! I love the barleycorn look, it must be very satisfying to hold

The Highlander was a documentary, and the events happened in real time.

Thanks Kai,

I am a little proud of it. Hehe...

Especially that I not even looked for one.

I just found a place with three bottles of MB Ink of Friendship left! I was thrilled, but so sad they didn't have more. I feel sad that I have only four back-up bottles! I normally have 7, but I was lax this time and now am only stuck with 4. :crybaby:

Popped into my local to get new 2013 large calendar sheets for my A5 Agenda and thought I would treat myself to this, much talked about, Meisterstuck Montblanc Diamond ink B) Looks like it will go well with my Thomas Mann doesn't it!

Oh, had to pick up some MB ink should have seen if PB had MB Diamond Blue. But Marcel Proust will have a Grande Dame and serpent adorned friend join him later this week.

Oh if I could just get back the powerful voice of war and even so drink and fight. If I only end up with 2 of the 3 that's not to bad.

Best,

I only have 3 MB fps , a Noblesse Stub nib, a 146 (old one with all yellow gold) M nib, a 144 M nib with matching ball pen and pencil. Also an old Solitaire ball pen. I bought them all new over the counter and they are so reliable my stable has not needed an increase since the 144, 11 years ago, but I have always wanted a 149.........................

Seeing that gorgeous Agatha brings up a question:

Do you shine the silver or if it's "dark" just leave the patina? (especially on a pen like the Agatha)

Really tough question on polishing it. I polished it, but the real gentleman I bought it from had let it get the stealthy patina. Looked great that way too. I thought since it looks so new, that it might look great with a little simocrhome too, It is really just a coin toss. Was gorgeous when I got and is gorgeous polished.

I have it loaded with MB Irish Green, but would think with MB Blue Black, Black, Hitchcock or even Diamond Blue it would be great too.

Best

Three used ballpoints at the antiques market: one of sterling and gold in the box that needed a part, and two of nice black resin. I sold them at DC.

Well I'm on ice after the last one I bought Monday. I set out to add Proust, Agathe and reclaim my Hemingway. They Hemingway is hard one to buy right. So I settled for a beauty that the same size, but a lot less expensive. When I get this week later I'll post a pic, but needless to say, Im on ice until the new vienna cases come in....

Most recent MB pen purchase: Brahms Donation pen, stock medium point that writes like a dream - I love the way MB nibs can glide but still give just the right amount of feedback.

Most recent MB purchase: Special edition inks, including the Hitchcock "dried blood" look ink. Nice... might also be appropriate for the Agatha Christie pen, too, whenever I get that one...
