Got these two today

http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/9513/imagewgd.jpg

I was visiting a B&M Authorised Dealer this afternoon and found a NOS of this:

I can't find any official data on this one and the latest product books in the boutique does not have its description. The only lead I have is this website http://www.gopens.com/Vintage-pens-cat-60.php

item no 24.

It says - "1990 - 146S LeGrande Solitaire PIF in Sterling Silver. Discontinued alternating Barley and Plain Panels design. Stainless steel trim. Visualated barrel...."

I'm hoping some of the montblanc expert in this community can tell me more about it. Any additional information to help me know more about this pen would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Sidestreaker, that one's called Pure Silver.

Thanks Darius and congrats on the Brahms and Joseph II - the Joseph II is beautiful, very solidly built and and well detailed pen!

Thanks Sidestreaker. The Joseph II is a beautiful pen. It has the same feel as the older POA.

My wife bought her first MB when we went to an AD last week...

She will use it occasionally but I have been appointed to be the caretaker and custodian of this fine instrument...

Your wife has extremely good taste. What a great pen!

May you, sorry, she, use it in good health.

Dear Sidestreaker, I have the impression your family has been in a period of very active pen-buying... All of your recent acquisition are stunning pens: congratulations!

My 146 Geometric came in! Thanks Bryant thumbup.gif...

The brushed finish in stunning, as are the variable sized crisp triangles on the body & cap.

The MOP star matches my notebook's and it just all seems to look right...a bit over the top maybe, but works nonetheless.

...and although, not a MB, I wanted to share my newest lady. She joined the family recently. This Divine Comedy has the gold plating still on it, which I thought would be nice to have next to the other one Bryant graciously sold me, that he polished. I like seeing them together. Here is some eye candy.

Thank you Inked. I will, I mean I'm sure she'll find the whole writing experience a thrill. It's hard work keeping/maintaining the collection, but someone has to do it :roflmho:

@ Wael:

Wow nice combo!

Congrats.

Thanks KJY! BTW, a few months ago I tried the Collodi pen, like yours, with the python notebook and it actually matched it better than the 146 Geometric. It really looked like they were designed to go together. But I couldn't get myself to buy the Collodi then as I had just splurged on that notebook and a Hitchcock. unsure.gif

cheers
