That really s.cks!

Luckily you have gathered yourself and did some nice acquisitions!

I really like that atelier leather . Unfortunately MB has not made a A4 portfoliofolder with this leather.

Otherwise I would certainly buy one.

Just got a Hematite Le Grand size. Couldn't resist the offer.

Congratulations. There is something elegant about its monochromatic look. It's clean and understated.

cheers

Thanks Wael. It is a nice looking pen. I has a choice between it and a Ciramic Prisma. I opted for the Hematite because it's an older model. I figured the Ciramic would be obtainable for some time still.

Against my earlier judgement of this pen, I went ahead and pick this up from an authorised dealer at a discounted price. Wasn't too enthusiastic about Collodi in the beginning but slowly grow into it and eventually I'm glad I did. What is great about this dealer is that he would let customer dip-test everything, even when this one was new, something you can't do in an MB boutique. The deal sealer was the B-nib that was available, nice smooth, stub lines. Hope to do a review soon. :)

Congrats on the purchase. I hv been lurking to this pen for sometime. I too was unsure about this pen. Perhaps the barrel is too plain for me in contrast to the elaborate engraved cap. I might pull the trigger as i really love the cap. Time will tell then..

I've been busy lately. Encouraged by the theft of my MB Meisterstuck leather note pad and Hemingway BP, and encouraged by my wife, I bought a new Meisterstuck Atelier python notebook. I'm still getting used to it. Doesn't make me feel very manly...but it is good looking. So, couple that with the new Hitchcock FP and 146 100 year granite/silver OB and I'm back feeling pretty good. I also picked up the MB cigar case that I use as a pen pouch... Still sucks that someone stole my agenda.

I keep a non-MB pen in the new agenda, that's actually quite valuable to me (see last photo below)...anyway, here are some pics.

Thanks for the wonderful brilliant snapshots, Wael. Love to see the razor clip & the body stripes. Oh, i envy your 146 1906 pen and hv been drooling it for sometime. Hopefully, one day i will add this grail pen.

Just got a Hematite Le Grand size. Couldn't resist the offer.

Same thing happened to me when i was in phuket last month. Montblanc opened a booth at junkceylon & they are clearing some pens including the hematite & ceramic. I bought the hematite for half of the retail price.

I have to agree - that python notebook is just stunning... :puddle:

I am on the other side of things currently - selling pens that have a very high price/value-to-adoration ratio. It's actually been pretty telling, which MB pens I've kept vs. which I've been ok with letting go. Interesting which ones I ended up attached to... I actually was ok with selling my (wonderfully writing and looking) Hemingway, my Christie, and my Poe set. But I'm keeping my Wilde, my Woolf, the several various vintage MBs, the burgundy/bordeaux 146 and (at least at the moment), all 4 of my 149s. Can't beat the 149...

I always found the MB hematite to be outrageously stunning. Excuse me while I drool...

I know it's hard to resist such offers. I think I saw a Citrine in one of the shops here a while ago. I wonder if I could get a decent discount on it.

Actually, I've always felt the Hematite and Citrine 146 as sleepers. They're very elegant, understated and pack a punch. Few people (the casual shoppers) recognize how special they are which is good for us, as we can pick them up at competitive prices, now that they're discontinued.

I went to a friend's house for dinner and i noticed that his dad was using a MB LeGrand BP Platinum trim. I was beautiful and big.

Since using the MB 149, i got used to writing with big pens. I decided to go to my favorite Authorized Dealer to take a closer look at the MB LeGrand BP. He had 3 models available (Gold, Platinum and UNICEF).

I was always fond of the UNICEF Edition because it reminded me of my trip to Tokyo back in spring 2010. There was a huge poster of "Signature for Good" on the flagship MB store in Ginza. Also, i love the cap of the pen. If only they made a MB 149 UNICEF, i would be all over it. Anyways, back to the BP, i picked the UNICEF version. So here are the pictures.

P.S: I've included my other Meisterstuck just because i happen to have them with me. Enjoy!

A gift from my wonderful wife for my birthday, Geometric Dimension, the ink was complimentary and the boutique throw in an old "handcrafted Meisterbütten" set deckle edged paper. I've already inked the pen but haven't tried the paper yet.

Congrats and happy birthday! It's a nice handsome looking pen. I notice it has the MOP star. Is it a solid gold pen? By the way, nice gift they gave it to you. From which boutique? Klcc or Pavillion?

Woot! The big boy came today. My first 149 :P

Still too afraid to ink it.

Also, the single pen Mont Blanc leather pouch also arrived today. Now my Traveller has a home.

I'd upload a photo, but I don't have anywhere public to upload to.

What do you guys use?
