Eagerly awaiting delivery of my Hemingway. Yes, it's the one from nibs.com. Will post some photos as soon as I have it in my grubby paws.

Yes please!

I love mine, hope yours is great too.

Lovely pen Wael.

And lovely sketch too.

Just make sure you don't get fired for sketching during meetings

They look a fair bit better than my doodles for sure!!

Congrats on a very elegant pen and case. Beware, they're addictive, especially if you hang around here for a while

cheers and W2FPN.gif.

Yeah, a few days as a member on here and I've already been sucked into the fountain pen abyss!! I've accumulated a few FPs over the years, and now I feel like I need to bring them together under one roof and start to enjoy them all over again.

Thanks.

I seem to have a 149 OM on my desk. :yikes: Yeah, it's a teeny weeny nib for me, but so smooth and the price was right. Perfect for filling out forms, marginalia, and graph paper.

I have two new ones on the way. A 149 Demonstrator with a BB nib. And today my wife insisted that I call the boutique back and buy a Hitchcock after they said they had the ink. What was I supposed to do? Say no. Hitchcock is still sealed in the box and will get here next Friday morning along with the Shaw that I sent in for an OBB nib exchange. My pen budget is gone for the year until the next WE is released.

PBW,

Congrats on your two fantastic new pens! You're gonna have to share some pics with us when they arrive safely :) Don't worry about blowing your budget, those two pens are well worth it, that if you don't buy any more pens this year, at the very least you secured a pair of very special pens. It's quality not quantity happyberet.gif...right?

Use them in good health.

cheers

Congrats PBW! Wish that I have such budget to buy pens.

No way, surely not, you aren't serious... :ltcapd:

I even have a couple of fine nibs now, on my Hemi and 149 demo and they are surprisingly good.

I won't mention the EF on my Omas Lucens...

I've come a ways from paintbrushes

Hitchcock will come with the standard M nib. I'm debating sending it off for a bigger one. Once I have my Shaw in hand and can see how I like the OBB for more than just a test session, the Hitchcock may go in for one as well. I'll also have the regular BB on the 149 for comparison.

Don't worry pics will be posted when they arrive. I'm going to spend some time with the camera this week to try and get my macro shots a little better.

Just got the long-wanted Proust today from Ebay, can't wait to see it and write with it.

Congrats! The Proust was my first WE when I started getting serious about my MB collection. It's hard to resist that pen's design and elegance. Use it in good health.

cheers
