fpn_1316457403__.jpgFinally I got the Dumas which has the most beautiful nib I think. The M nib writes smoothly as Dupont but WARMLY. This is a special experience I never had. Besides, the dark brown with gold trim is elegant and tasteful.

Congratulations! MB Dumas never cease to amazes me.

A threesome. The three pens are all pre-owned and used. Very happy with the purchase as two of my grail pens are there. The red pouch from Notes & Diaries series are new nonetheless.

All 3 pens look well together :) congratulations again and enjoy them well!

Today I bought the WE Collodi and two bottles of ink. Collodi (brown) and Ink of friendship.

I am very pleased with it. Out of the box the Collodi writes very smooth.

My preferred supplier (no affiliation just a very happy customer):

Appelboom

Surely one of my preferred models, perhaps one of the best MB ever made. I do not own one, but it like it very, very much. I also think that M nibs in the 9 series are simply perfect for daily writing and for anything else. Congratulations!

The Dupont is indeed a wonderful pen. I have one with the son's signature, albeit stubbed by Mike Mayusama and then tuned again by John Mottishaw for increased flow.

As for the MB xx9 oversized nibs ... I have then in M, in 1.3mm stub, in 0.9mm stub, in EF ... and have really loved dip testing the B ... and and .... they're all wonderful writers!!!

In Rotation: MB 146 (EF), Noodler's Ahab bumblebee, Edison Pearl (F), Sailor ProGear (N-MF)

In storage: MB 149 (18k EF), TWSBI 540 (B), ST Dupont Olympio XL (EF), MB Dumas (B stub), Waterman Preface (ST), Edison Pearl (0.5mm CI), Noodler's Ahab clear, Pilot VP (M), Danitrio Densho (F), Aurora Optima (F), Lamy 2000 (F), Visconti Homo Sapiens (stub)

An early 132 with an M nib - 4th in from left in yellow tray and finally got around to photographing the 142 grey celluloid with the 146. Have had the 142 for about 6 weeks or so - lovely smooth EF.

It isn't real without lots of pictures... :P

A major purchase of a major MB iconic pen - really keen to know how you get on with it 'in the celluloid flesh'.

Congratulatios Jeremy. Can't wait to hear your views on it. I got mine from Max. Satisfying isn't it, knowing that you've purchased such an important, iconic pen from such a reliable source. The consistency in quality of Max's pens make it well worth a slight premium.
