Another latest addition.. I thought I would never see the MST 149 Unicef 2004 Andree Putman's edition anymore. I love the big black lacquered wooden casing and in particular to the torpedo shape casing for the pen alone.. And the whole presentation will be great for the display in the cabinet.. :cloud9:

Now if I can get my hands to Helmut Jahn's edition (and there goes my other limb).. :gaah:

Nice!

Quite impressive if you pull that torpedo out of your jacket! :roflmho:

Congrats.

That torpedo is simply awesome, for a moment I thought it is one of those ultra large safeties.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Congratulations! Any chance of photos or writing samples?

Life is like Chinatown signage, its cluttering, confusing but everything that you need is there, just have to look harder....

Hi sidestreaker,

I don't want to ink this pen. Most of my fountain pens are unused. But every day I would like to try the nice piece...

Was in Chicago this weekend. Stopped by the boutique, they were very nice and very helpful. Picked up the new chocolate textured pen case. Beautiful case and they took time to make sure it easily held a 149, something customer service told me it wouldn't. They were exceptional and took the time. Then I stopped by Ed Hamilton's. He had a lot of consignment pens and I was able to pick up a Starwalker Black Resin RB, Cool Blue RB, and Doue FP, what a beautiful pen all for under MSRP of the Doue.

A nice day out indeed! Enjoy

Finally I got the Dumas which has the most beautiful nib I think. The M nib writes smoothly as Dupont but WARMLY. This is a special experience I never had. Besides, the dark brown with gold trim is elegant and tasteful.

A 146 in perfect shiny grey striated celluloid, flat feed and flexy F nib. Only thing about it is the rhodium is polished off the nib, a minor replate if I ever bother.

A threesome. The three pens are all pre-owned and used. Very happy with the purchase as two of my grail pens are there. The red pouch from Notes & Diaries series are new nonetheless.
