Very nice pencils you two chaps have found!

My latest purchase has just arrived today from Battersea Pen Home in UK - a pre-war 236 with a lovely responsive nib which looks like a f-m with a touch of italic! Only in black I'm afraid, not striated in green or grey! Thank you Simon!

Each day is the start of the rest of your life!

Make it count!!!

A bottle of the toffee brown ink and another bottle of oyster grey (my current bottle is less than half full). I must say that the new Collodi pen looks really cool if the pictures I received from MB are anything to judge by.

This 2-pen Meisterstück Sienna leather pouch.

Wasn't expecting to find this colour, really... And with the 40% discount, I just had to get it. :bunny01:

I couldn't resist the temptation of a brand new, boxed Diaries & Notes old style 2 pens pouch, natural tan color. It perfectly accommodates 2 of my 149s, and the natural leather color of the pouch give to my pens a very "light" and unserious aspect. It is a sturdy case, and I really like it. Thanks to Darius, Blade Runner, kaisede and Sunflowers to share their invaluable information (unobtainable in the official website) about Montblanc case fittings.

How many colours were there for this pouch in addition to this tan colour? Beside two pen compartments, were there 1 or 3 compartments ever introduced for this range? When was this pouch introduced?

This coloured pouch is fabulous since it can keep 2 large 149s. Correct me if I'm wrong, I recall that only the sienna (in black) and florence (black & bordeaux) can keep large pens.

The most recent MB purchase...? The insert into the organiser last yr. A bit of shame, yes.

I just bought one in sydney in the burgundy colour.

The tan is a stunning colour but has been discontinued.

This is a superior case especially for larger pens like the 149- I certainly prefer it than my Siena case.

Good luck if you can find it in tan- get one for me too!

Collected today:

1. WE Franz Kafka fountain pen with box and papers. Unusual yet stunning fountain pen I must say.

2. WE Miguel de Cervantes Fountain pen and pencil set without the ballpoint pen. Fountain pen was never inked. Also came with box and papers.

Been a good month for me. Exactly a month ago I received an Agatha Christie Vermeil LE4810.

I just bought all three new MB inks but unfortunately haven't yet had time to try them but had to have them after M.Richters excellent swabs!

I also indulged myself to a MB Boheme Bleu which will hopefully arrive next week. I love small pens but always was slightly sceptical about the boheme after reading about its problems here so got a Mozart instead a few years ago. However when I was in the boutique I thought I would try it out and it was so beautiful in my hand, it suited my wants in a pen perfectly. I dont normally like black pens but the bleu in platinum trim was calling to me  Originally the Greta Garbo was supposed to be next on my list but the prices have gone up so much (over a 1000Euros here) that I am really not sure it is worth it although I have been wanting one for several years. If I could afford spending that kind of money on a pen I would absolutely get the Agatha Christie. Also the new Grace Kelly is supposed to be very colourful according to my boutique so that probably isnt something for me either (I do like colourful but preferably one colour not several!). Don't understand MBs ideas there as Grace Kelly was very elegant and I would have expected a similar pen, elegant and understated as the others in the Ladies Range.

Wish list: Aurora Optima

Current inked Pens: Pilot Decimo - Noodlers BBH, MB Mozart - MB Lavender

Pelikan M150 - Noodlers Kung te Cheng
