Yep. They received it out of the blue and contacted me as I had been in the boutique a few weeks earlier having a chat with the staff about pen boxes.

Congratulations Michael. I am especially partial to the 138 and I think that 35 barrel will be a real looker wen completed.

 

Perhaps for that pen, you can have a cap made in a complimentary color, even if not the original material. That way you can enjoy the pen while searching for the new cap.

@Sharookh: getting the 35 back to live will be a long stoney road; lots of parts and work! Also I was not able to find a matching cap or material yet. But not giving up so easy :-)

Ah, ok - I should read my Montblanc books more often ;-) It's a button filler so you were right about the 226! Too many things to keep track on at the moment ... but still the pen is great :-)

Boheme Doue, NIB uninked, and a used Doue Signum ballpoint--have to keep something in your pocket to hand to someone when they ask to borrow a pen.

 

By the way, does anyone know how to translate "Doue" in this context?

I just placed an order for the WE Tolstoy F. I should get it by the end of this week, I believe. This will be my 7th WE as I started collecting the series since the Thomas Mann edition.
