Which boutique is this? Looking for winter glow!

It's the Raffles City boutique here in Singapore and Winter Glow is available. I'm currently using Winter Glow in my Heritage 1912 and love the red tone.

Wanted to share a new entry to my collection. It is a Montblanc from 2008, named Fortune Number 88. Love the color! The whole design refers everywhere to the number 8. Size is 149 - the pen is very light though due the skeleton type.

I have seen one of this pen with blue color on the body. Also looks beautiful!

Here's my latest MB haul, photos will follow:

- 220 in Oblique Fine

- 14 in medium

- 12 in what I assume is a BB

And finally one of the most beautiful inks that I've had the chance to use:

Leo Tolstoy!!!!

I was surprised my local boutique had a bottle of this as I haven't seen them anywhere yet. I went there to buy two bottle of Blue Hour and the clerk told me that they have it and when he went to bring the bottles to me he apologized and said that he had mixed up the Leo Tolstoy ink and the Blue Hour inks and asked me if I would like a bottle. The idiot that I am I bought only one bottle, going to buy a couple more when I get back there to buy the Blue Hour bottles.

I received an MB 1912 this morning and can finally understand why so many others love this pen and keep it as their daily writer. It is just a superb pen in every way. The BB nib is smooth, wet, flexy, and extremely stubbish: a real delight to use.

Interestingly, MB had sold out of Double Broad nibs and I had to wait for another to be produced.

My 146 just got united with his estranged brother a few minutes ago :)

After years of thinking, planning, scouting and waiting.. Finally I got myself a NOS 146R!

I can't possibly be happier, considering the condition the pen and that I have managed to get a good deal on one after screening the exuberant asking prices nowadays.

It is an OM nib and writes beautifully.

I was fortunate enough to come across this red burgundy beauty NOS too a couple of years ago, and loved it. Nice find in the nib. An OM I am sure is wonderful.

hail, hail bordeaux 146R!!!

Arriving this weekend is a first year 146 with a long ink window from 1949. I'll post a pic as soon as it arrives.

So i know a lot of people prefer patina on silver than not, but there were a bit bad, found these on eBay, ended up with 2 ballpoints instead of 1  , reminds me of the week i also won two 149s.

I was perhaps a bit overzealous bidding on the two tarnished ones due to the lower price that i didn't notice the engraving notice in the listing :yikes:

I did polish them since the tarnishing wasn't even or looked good, the 146 Doué for 270$ even with engraving is not bad or so I tell myself :)

Now i have 2 Doué ballpoints and 2 146s, a set with and without engraving XD, I'm off to flush the 146 and ink it up, wish me luck :)

I love your pen! Where do you find them?

I find most of my pens at fleamarkets, local adds and sometimes small antique stores.

Got myself a first year 146 with an oblique nib. Definitely one of the nicest writing pens in my collection. I can see it being my daily carry for a long time.

Congratulations.

It's the ultimate writing instrument, to me.

Since I got one*, my other pens have had far less hand-time!

Nice work in your book, too.

Enjoy it in good health.

*Non oblique, in my case.
