Congratulations! That is a beautiful pen and has always been one of my favorites. I am actually carrying the exact same pen with me right now so I would absolutely use the pen. I love it even more because it keeps its elegance and does not show fingerprints with use on the metal top/cap.

Thanks for the feedback Mister Mb. You are right this pen has the glitter but doesn't attract fingerprints.

Will try the pen out :)

Wanted to share a new entry to my collection. It is a Montblanc from 2008, named Fortune Number 88. Love the color! The whole design refers everywhere to the number 8. Size is 149 - the pen is very light though due the skeleton type.

Beautiful!

Current Wishlist:

Visconti, Visconti, and...more Visconti! (And some ST Duponts too). (Ok fine, getting on the Omas and Montblanc trains now too. Toot toot.) (And maybe on the Montegrappa one too, but only for the Miyas.)

I'm not normally interested in skeleton pens, but this one is quite lovely and interesting! Enjoy your beautiful new pen :)

Just got my grail pen yesterday off the classifieds, well kind of, the pinstripe solitaire is/was the grail pen but not specifically the wedding version one, so i leave you with a gorgeous 146 Solitaire wedding edition (no idea on it's official name), it's a nice fine nib and also a tad longer than the Doué, it looks great, writes great as well :)

My latest Montblanc purchase was about 3 years ago, a silver barley duo Legrand. They have gotten so expensive, and since I am now semi retired, a bit out of my price range. I like this pen a lot, it looks very classy, the silver is not too shiney, like chrome or palladium. I did get the matching ballpoint so it makes for a good looking set.

Regards

Jeff

Wow, where'd you find that almost unknown skeleton? Did you know about it before? Were you hunting for it? Congrats!

Thanks :-)

I saw it about 5 years ago in a catalogue and liked it immediately. Have been looking for it since then - was not the first on my list but pretty high. With this one I have more or less finalized my personal hunt for Montblancs from the last decade or so. Got it from a fellow collector.

Hi!

I bought this MB Heritage 1914 black pen two days ago in Singapore. It is really a huge and nice pen. I have enclosed a photo to compare the size, side by side with a JFK special edition pen. The mother of pearl on the top of the cap is also very beautiful. Love it!

I got this nice little danish MB "2" bandless a few days ago, it cleaned up very nicely, the imprints are crisp and clear and it came in a box.

This is the second Mb "2" i have, but this one has a smaller star and there are also some other small differences to the cap.

It has a very fine, semi-flexible nib.

A sturdy little unpretentious pen.

I have just taken delivery of a 1912 pen, and am very pleased. Your 1914 is absolutely magnificent. :)

Got myself a Toffee Brown ink pot today, only have limited inks at one of the local MB boutiques here. All their limited edition inks are out of stock and other than Corn Poppy Red, Royal Blue and black, they also have Winter Glow and the 90th anniversary Permanent Gray.

Picked up a medium nibbed Heritage 1912.

Have a dilemma as to what to ink it with first. I have a choice of Toffee Brown, Royal Blue, Swift, JFK or Diamond (as well as some much much older MB inks - blue black I think).

What would you choose?

Those are all good choices. I really like Toffee Brown, though.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.
