Just received my tiger eye 246 OBB nib (gP will love that one) from Max.

It is minty and stunning.

My link

Beautiful pen. :puddle:

Congrats.

Thank you- it is a treasure.

More valuable to me than my more expensive pens for sure.

That is a good question my west Australian friend.

Let's just say that they were both fantastic acquisitions.

But I haven't inked the 246 yet and I am not sure if I will.

But I should- it is an OBB, right?

On a trip to NYC I picked up two beautiful black Meisterstuck leather pieces:

1. A pocket briefcase type memo pad. On the reverse side 3 credit card slots and a larger side slot.

2. An organizer with 7 interior credit card slots, two larger interior pockets that can accomodate address book and calendar, and a large side lot for papers.

Stunning fit and finish to these pieces. Very pleased. :happyberet:

I am thinking of acquiring a mechanical pencil made by another German company (Graf von Faber-Castell)

Here they are Kaisede. One of the cool things about MB is the large variety of matching gear for one's pens. I'm looking forward to using these every day! :happyberet:

And a shot of the calendar format. The MB logo on the pages is a nice accent.

HI Blade Runner,

Yes I agree MB have so many different products that would compliment their writing instrument.

The note pad is nice I have never seen it in person before.

I have an organizer that also uses the same refill. It is the small organizer from the discontinued "Diaries and Notes" selection. However, when I got my signature for good large organizer I stopped using the small one as organizer but as check holder. The calendar refill is about the same size as a check book.

I'd be interested to see pictures of your Signature for good organizer. Is its calendar layout different? And thanks for the idea of using it as a check book holder.

Sure here some picture of it. Right now I am using Fioflex A5 refill which is not as good as the MB refill. I like the way MB present the dates.

This was a surprise buy for me. Last year I called my favorite MB store for some pen pouches for me to look at later that week. Most of the sales staff there kind of know my taste so once in a while they will recommend some things to me. When I got there the manager came out and showed me this piece. She had order two pieces one sealed and one open for me to see. When I told her that I will take it she told me that she knew I would and had an sealed one for me in the back room. Ahh MB and their service... bad news for me.

Wow, NICE organizer! I like the zipper to keep things together. It's also big enough to transport letters. It looks like it would also serve well as a travel case for passport tickets, and stubs.

My boutique personnel are also "bad" that way. :D

Well to make it up to me they also thrown in 100 sheets of blank page refill, 100 sheets of graph refill, and the starter kit, which have a plastic ruler, A-Z separation divider and whole bunch of other dividers to make me feel better. :roflmho:

The size is perfect to use for meetings and conference and the zipper is the icing on the cake. If it wasn't for the zipper i properly will not get it. I have a coach conference folder and paper keeps falling out of it so this was kind of replacement of it. The inner zipper compartment is also good for keeping documents such as passport etc...

Thanks Shrinknib and Sunnerd..........for lovely words!

I think if that 246 isn't inked yet it had better come south for a holiday!!! :cloud9:

Is it the choice of ink that is the problem???? :headsmack:

Did they throw in the JP Morgan as well? :roflmho:

Now that would be a nice touch.
