A new silver solitaire to go with my black and gold. Really like the weight and feel of these metal pens, and the 146 is just the right size. Now waiting on a another gold (barleycorn) 146 from max with a B nib.

So pretty!!! Enjoy your beautiful pens :)

From functional art to just functional, Montblanc is an amazing company. I just finished restoring this 042G,

Victim of the fountains pens worse nemesis, superglue!

As meek as this little pen might be, it is such a pleasing pen to write with, The OB nib is springy and responsive, and lays down a great line. Just a student model, at 65 years old, but still a testimony to quality craftsmanship.

Beautiful photo - love the shell :)

Bernard Shaw could be one my favorite Writers Edition pens. I feel like it's calling to me now.

The most recent Montblanc I purchased was a gift to my not-yet-wife over 30 years ago (time approximate).

I found this old MB 124 pl in a local add recently, the sellers pic were bad, so i did´nt know what to expect, but when it turned up today it was in surprisingly good condition, no cracks or anything, the only thing was the clip it came with, some parker like clip, i had a spare MB 134 clip which looked better than the one it came with, but i hope to find the right clip someday.
I had to change the sac, other than that it just needed a bit of cleaning.

Very cool!! That celluloid is striking, yet at the same time, refined (if that makes sense LOL)

I'm beginning to become very interested and excited about vintage pens. I have so much to learn (and to appreciate!)

Just received Monte Rosa Hexagonal, nib is 14 c, probably F size. Pen is now resting in lukewarm water, soaking. Age is probably 1965+.., no mayor signs of use, only cap ring will be good to re-plate in gold. Luckily, a friend of mine is true wizzard in plating..Can anybody point me to a link describing period of production, how to remove nib/feeder, etc... I found a plenty of links for MB Monte Rosa 042 and 042 G, which I already have.

Thanks!
