The JFK is a handsome pen. The big center band makes a bold statement. I like it.

I wonder what ink JFK used to sign that letter. The pen looks quite a bit more attractive in these photos than in the advertising material.

Rationalizing pen and ink purchases since 1967.

Nice haul Zaphod :)

Is the ball point solid gold or vermeil?

It is actually a mechanical pencil. Mint condition Solid 18ct. The photo really does not do it justice. I was able to work a heck of deal to get this pencil so I could not pass it up.

Wonderful :)

Havent seen a solid gold MB in that pattern before. I have a vermeil 144 which looks stunning but the real thing would be even better!

Yesterday i found these danish MBs in a antique store, it´s a coral red 226 buttonfiller (1941-1954) and a coral red K2 button filler (1937-1946), which is the short version of the model 2.

They were very dirty, but cleaned up nicely, they both needed new rubber sacs, and the K2 had the wrong nib ( i had the right one lying around. which i put on ), the K2 also has the wrong clip, so i´m on the lookout for the right clip.

The K2 is the smallest MB i have got, it really is small, the pic shows it next to a celluloid 142 (which is a small pen).

Thank you Opooh.

That K2 is allmost ridiculous small, it must have been meant for kids or people with very very small hands.

I really like those Danish MBs.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Oooooh very beautiful!! Isn't the floating diamond stunning? I have one on my Etoile and I can't stop staring at it. This is the one you had engraved with your wedding date?

The pencil is stunning too. I actually thought it was a ballpoint as well. Great score on both accounts!! Enjoy! :)
