Thanks Opooh, small but with some weight to it (due to the metal two-way piston mechanism) and a very nice rathet flexible nib.

I haven´t done much really, they were in good condition to begin with, maybe it´s because the pic was taken in daylight.

Lovely pen farmdogfan. I am a big fan of the 142/4 piston fillers. I guess this has a cork? Will you keep it filled with water when not in use or dry?

Thanks, yes it has a cork seal (which works fine so i´m not going to change it) i will be using it for a while, but later i will clean it and fill it with demineralized water (which i change every now and again) i do that with all my cork sealed pens.

The only drawback for me is that it is not possible to cap it when writing.

The JFK is a handsome pen. The big center band makes a bold statement. I like it.

I agree, it's quite elegant, and as Max Dog said, it's got boldness in that center band. I really like it too.

Ahhh, I don't ever post my pens, so this would definitely fall into the "win" category for me, but I hope it doesn't bother you too much. At least you won't have to worry about scratching the body with the cap. Do you find it heavy? I actually didn't try this one out at the shop last time I was there, and now I am wishing I had!

Sorry no pictures yet, but my two latest Montblanc will be delivered on Tuesday!

 

First, to celebrate our wedding anniversary I was able to located a New Montblanc Meisterstück Diamond edition Ballpoint and had it engraved with our names and the date.

 

Second, I was able to buy a mint condition Solid Gold Meisterstück Mechanical Pencil.

 

Yes I know it's not a fountain pen, and while I do own about 4 Montblanc Fountain Pens they are not my favorite Fountain pens. But they make the best pencils and ballpoints hands down.

I felt the same about posting, but it's a minor issue for me. My mom and dad brought me home from the hospital on Inaugration Day as I was born 2 days before the inauguration. The ballpoint is one of MBs best!!
