Must stop this.....now have a 22 and a 32 also on they're way.

I find the older models really interesting and am hoping US$280 for a 31, a 32 and a 22 is OK value....obviously the condition will be the deciding factor as to whether these are bargains or not.

I'm no MB collector at all but I love the design of some of these 1970's/80's cartridge pens like Lamy cp1, Aurora Hastil and of course the Montblanc Turbo. The clip and the golf ball textured grip section are just great.

The pen seems mint and unused and will keep this condition probably...

:) So I bought a Boheme the other day and then I was fascinated by the Heritage 1912...and then I stomped upon this community and discovered Franklin Christoph...and now I am kinda broke :D

Today I acquired the Legrand Ballpoint Pen, a perfect companion to my 146.

Very ergonomic pen. I love it.

Matt

Congratulations Matt

This is my next goal, an essential part to any Montblanc collection. There are many occasions when a ballpoint is necessary, and the Legrand is outstanding.

I just bough a brand new Kafka! The box was still sealled with that Montblanc stick! :yikes:

Fantastic feeling! This is my all time loved pen, and I was looking for it a few months. And then I found it. Will post some pictures soon!

A great pen, one of my favorite MBs. I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.

Got my second 146 on Saturday.

Lovely pen, but the nib is too broad and too wet for me so will look to sell on.

More pictures of nib - sad it doesn't match my writing style actually as it looks lovely, but I'm guessing it's a OB nib?

Love that nib and the juicy flow!! My advice, hold onto it for awhile if you can. Many of us started with fine or extra-fine nibs and have evolved to broader, wetter nibs. If you do decide to part with it, you'll have no trouble finding a home for it ;-) ;-)

Picked up a thin line fp with a stainless nib and a matching ballpoint in gunmetal. Found it at a local thrift store along with a bp to go with my 146. All genuine, for about 4.99 cdn $. Every now and again a person lucks out!

You can just give it to me if you don't like it :)

That isn't luck, it's theft!!! Great find. Please show us some pictures.

I recently scored a couple of Meisterstuck 75th Anniversary fountain pens, a 146 and the 149 which was my Grail pen. Both are the 1924 limited with the rose gold and mother of pearl star. Both were about 1/3 of the going pricess on *Bay. Also picked up a Dumas fountain pen with a great broad nib. I'd post pictures, but every time I try to upload images from my iPad, I get an error message?!?
