- POA 4810 Elizabeth (ebay seller from Europe)

- POA 4810 Catherine (FPN seller)

- POA 888 Catherine (FPN)

- 149 and 147 Traveller (FPN)

- POA 4810 Semiramis (ebay seller Canada)

- POA 4810 Regent (ebay canada)

- POA 4810 catherine (yes another one, ebay canada)

- POA 4810 Louis XIV (ebay canada)

- POA 4810 peter (ebay canada)

The last 5 were one of those weird situations where you throw in bids on a bunch of things, hoping you win one, maybe two. Oh well.

Gosh, that is some catch. Congratulations on a magnificent haul. Anything else on your 'wish list'?

Pavoni.

Thanks Pavoni. Like I said, a far bigger haul than was actually intended, but I am not complaining. To answer your question, there is always a "wish list". Next up (once my bank account recovers) will be the Elizabeth 888 and then on to the Skeletons ....

Finding the time to actually use all of these pens in some sort of rotation is really the tricky part.

  • 2 weeks later...

Been naughty today and have just bought a MB Dumas. Hopefully it will turn up next week. Seller states it hasn't been used much so I'm hoping I can slot it straight into my rotation.

The pen is almost a freebee as I cashed in my loose change (I put a £1 in a pot each week and any coinage 20p or less) collection, my AmEx/Nectar bonus points and these almost covered the cost.

Just today added the Carnegie and another Faulkner (already had one but price really was too low to pass up).

Have my eye on an Elizabeth 888 for the end of the month.

Longer term, I want to add a Black Widow.

Well, as it is gift giving (graduation) season, I made a very interesting evening at the local boutique. A Signature for Good (rollerball) with Signature for good business card case for a physician colleague graduating Harvard later this month from a group of us. Then a Le Grand for my son who is graduating his engineering program and lastly but not least, a Thomas Mann for me which is on it's way back to have a nib change.

I purchased a mystery montblanc on ebay. Not sure what it is yet, many people were bidding, and the seller was reputable. It's some sort of vintage pen. When I get it this week, I'll figure out exactly what I bought :D
