In less than a week I ended up with a 146 that was sold to me as having a stub nib, but it's really a big BB that act like a stub, and a mid - '80's 149 with a fine nib that is just a little too dry for my tastes right now. The best part is each were found for under $200 bills.

A functional 149 under $200 is a great deal. Congrats.

Fills and writes like a champ! It's in pretty good shape, probably rolled around in a drawer for years.

After a couple of abortive attempts to buy a second-hand 149, I finally caved and bought a new 90th year anniversary 149!

It's partly due to cowardice (fear of buying a dud or a fake) and partly because I figured that the chances to pick up a brand new anniversary pen were dwindling.

Anyway, here it is:

I really like the looks of the 90th Anniversary, so I bought one myself. Good job!

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Have you inked it yet? Somehow, I still can't bring myself to write with mine yet; it looks too good brand new :)

Not yet. I am trying to decide between the 90th Anniversary Permanent Grey or this: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/288002-montblanc-permanent-blue-permanent-black-161-mix/

I agree with you, it looks brand new.

LeGrand Platinum, with what I believe to be a BB nib. This also happens to be the only one in my collection that does not have 146 on the cap band.

Group shot with my other two tone MB #6 nibs

Now I feel I only need to find a Bordeaux to consider my own collection complete.

Curiously the Platinum LeGrand feels slightly lighter than the Gold trim ones, is the piston assembly a different metal than brass?

You might also consider a 90th Anniversary with the pink gold to make your collection complete.

It will take a while to arrive, but just completed the transaction for the Heritage 1912.

Quite excited about it! :puddle:

Yeah. I have bought one of this gorgeous 90th years Legrands.

What a beautiful nib it has.

I do have a 144 too, and was wondering about the 149. But I didn't like the fact that it's coming with a regular box. Not the big one. Just wondering.

Comment removed as I cannot read. I thought it was the 1914, not the 1912.

Congratulations still stand.

But I felt my 1912's nib wasn't exactly that soft though, using a F nib here.

Got a Platinum rollerball (Legrand) off the classified. Been waiting for a platinum rollerball to complete my collection, was going back and forth over a boheme, but this one caught my eye.

Will post pics when it arrives.

Well, I have had these for a couple months, but now that they're back from repairs and in full daily use again (replacing all my star walkers) I figured I should post the pictures. Now you have to guess what pens they are.
