My early 1950s, all celluloid 138 finally arrived from Germany. the pen is near mint with a flexy #6 14C OM nib (like you would find on the early 146 pens). the only issue is that the ink window is pretty stained and you need to hold it to the light to seek an ink level. I'm looking forward to playing with it once I soak it with water a little more to clean out residual ink.

Pictures include a comparison to a modern 146 for a size comparison. Sadly i do not have a 139 handy, but this pen should be longer and, of course, thinner.

Zaddick,

The138 is amazing. That is such classic design and one of my favorites. I do not have the 138 per SE but do love my WE Dumas which is a close cousin.

Great looking 138 Zaddick! They are more difficult to find than 139s since their production run was shorter. Here is mine. I found this one pretty beat up with a name engraved on the barrel. Mr. Lutz of interpens.de completely restored the 138 and it turned out great. This particular 138 was one of the last ones produced since it has a short ink window and all metal piston mechanism. It also has an original #8 nib and feed.

Hello:

I just received last week this pen. It is a 149 not vintage. The special feature is the retipped and modificated nib. It was purchase with tip broken and I asked a new retip with Italic Medium grade. It writes smooth and very well now.

Regards.

Thats a nice bit of Nibbage Croma :)

Who did the work if you dont mind me asking?

Hello:

The work was made for Goldnibs. They have a web page (http://www.goldnibs.com/).

They restored a broken Pd Nib from Pelikan for me and It writes very good too. This is the mine http://www.goldnibs.com/portfolio/pelikan-pd-paladio-goldnibs-re-tipping-retipp-medium-gold-nibs-gold-nib-repair-plumines-plumin-averia-golpe-restoration-deformacion-aplastamiento-deformation-crushing-blow-estilografica-vintage-founta/

I have temporarily transformed my Starwalker Ultimate Carbon FP (I'm waiting to have the nib regrinded) into a rollerball. So, I bought the Pacific Blue Refill.

That is a very nice work on that nib. I am just fascinated by 149 nibs. It might be that extra bit of size on the nib but I always find the detailing so beautiful. They are always impressive.

Hi, :W2FPN: .

Unfortunately, I am afraid that this is a fake model.

Hi everyone. I just got this pen from my uncle but I don't know which model is this. Anybody can help me? Many thanks.
