This guy finally arrived. I don't think I have been this anxious to receive a pen since I got my 138.

Please excuse my less-than-stellar photos.

MiamiArchStudent - that's a nice looking pen. Thank you for the writing sample.

Now, to be greedy, comparison shots with other pens. :)

I was at a Montblanc distributor thinking hard about a ballpoint pen.....the sales person sold me their last POA Joseph II with a hefty discount (priced less than eBay)...going to have to keep away from that shop for a few years

Great looking pen. Condition looks to be excellent?

Nice penmanship too :)

thank you da vinci! The condition is way better than I originally thought, even with the superb pics from the seller. Aside from some small areas of wear, one could almost mistake this for a new pen.

Ohhh that is a great catch.

The shape particularly the long nib gives the pen an elegance lost in its modern cousins.

Is it a cork sealed piston fill?

Just bought my very first MB FP and comes with a bottle of Winter Glow ink which I found to be just as wet as my Parker Quink used in my Lamy 2000. Got a F nib and writes like a dream! Initially wanted to get Midnight Blue or Toffee Brown but was told the blue was discontinued and the brown is out of stock, so chose the red haha....

Was juggling between this and the WE Daniel Defoe but chose the Heritage due to smaller form factor and retractable nib.

Anyway, loving it to bits and has a solid feel to it!

Hello everyone,

My most recent (and first) Mb purchase was a Meisterstück Platinum Line LeGrand. Got it last weeek and I'm really really enjoying it. I'll have to get some photos up soon although I'm not sure they'd compare with some of the gorgeous pictures on this board.

The Montblanc Boutique in Willemstad (Curaçao) is closing down. So, they had everything at 40-50% off. I bought a couple of wallets and a Starwalker Ultimate Carbon FP (Medium nib), which I wouldn't have bought at the full price (1'200 USD!). If you pass by: they also had the Balzac, the 6k Lennon and a fair amount of Meisterstucks (Solitaire etc), Boheme, Tribute to Montblanc, Grace, Eclair.

@MiamiArchStudent: love how readable the imprints are; lovely pen in great condition!

@1980: great pen. I really like the subtle elegance and understatement of the Heritage. Is this a fine nib?

@1979: it's on my wishlist; just waiting for the right offer to come along. Yours was a great deal. I've handled the pen and really loved the lightweight of that specific Starwalker.

Cheers and thanks for sharing

Michael

Congrats! That was one of my first MBs, too, and I love it. Looking forward to pictures.

Thank you! I was also waiting for a NOS or a near mint model... could't believe I found such a bargain. :)

Last 2 MB pens bought were a JFK FP (medium nib) - only complaint is that you can't post the cap. Bad design flaw in my mind but beautiful pen.

I also bought a blue Boheme Paso Doble with medium nib. When I figure out how to post pics of them on here I will.

Thanks and yes it's in a fine nib. Absolutely love the smoothness of the writing!
