John Lennon FP landed today (cheers Zaddick) do like the both the dimensions and the vinyl grooved body of this pen. Lovely !

 

That pen is a good size for those who like larger pens. I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.

 

What ink have you chosen? I last used the MB Lavender but I think the JFK might be a good option if you like a solid blue.

Just broke in my last gift to myself. I quit smoking four weeks ago (WhooHoo!) and this was my celebratory present that I spent my cigarette money on I had my doubts at first but I love it in my wallet rotation now. I needed a wallet more than another pen at the moment but hopefully I'll be posting again here soon

Very nice pen! You are correct that they are no longer made without stones. I never even knew they made a gold clip version without stone so that must be even more rare. I've only seen Platinum trim models without the stone.

I'm really looking forward to hold it in my hands and to see Max's magic in real life I'm afraid that (almost ?) every part had to be worked on in some way Here is the picture Max already sent me:

 

Also a blue Meisterstück 20 and two 134s will return home.

@slippety when wet: did you notice the groove/line around the star on the cap-top? Not a rim like on yours but sure has some simlarities. Max suspects it's from a repair (on my pen) but you cannot be sure, especially after seeing your pen.
