I think Gary Lehrer at Gopens might have one of these.

kind regards

Jamie.

The Jamie, i did see Garys 128PL but it's a bit pricey. Still hoping to find one on the "cheap" :-)

Dear Sunnard

That's understandable, wait long enough and if it's still there you'll get at least 10% off maybe more.

Good luck with your search, from what little I Know you're a very experienced collector and I'm sure that your patience will pay off.

Bryant sourced mine a couple of years ago.

After two years of searching I've finally completed the 12x PL set but I'm still waiting on the 126.

Pics to follow.

Best of luck

Jamie

If I ever find another job I plan on getting one of these, I have always adored the Czar pen. The Green color and the vermeil are a splendid combination!

Thanks Jamie, really look forward to seeing your 12x PL collection!

Are there 122, 124, 126 and 128PL?

Dear Sunnerd

Yes indeed.

Please, please don't tell me there are any more in the 12x PL series that I'm not aware of as I'll have heart failure!

I don't have any of the Montblanc resource books which is rather remiss of me to refer to.

Kind regards

Jamie.

You're safe mate :-) The Roessler book only mentioned those 4 12x PLs.

But, but... now you got them, you should look at the lapis blue, malacite green, rose pattern 12x :-)

Dear Sunnerd

Thank you as I breath a sigh of relief!

Re the lapis and malacite pens, these are beautiful and I might consider these in the future.

Martini Auctions appear to have quite a few lapis Montblancs for sale at the moment which I've found tempting but I'm committed to buying some vintage Soenneckens and a Pelikan at this time so I'll have to be patient.

I've only ever seen the rose pattern 12x come up for sale once and it was well out of my reach (from memory EUR €10k plus) so this might prohibit going down this route as I like to try and collect the series if at all possible.

My collecting habits are similar, although not as extensive as your own from the looks of your collection. I have the 13x & 14x long ink windowed pens although I'm missing a 139 at this time as I only had the short ink windowed version which I've parted with.

I must confess I don't have a 135 but have only ever seen a picture of one and cannot envisage that I'll ever be lucky enough to be able to afford or locate one!

From memory don't you have all of the 13x series with palladium nibs also?

Kind regards

Jamie.

Well, I am also missing the 135 from my 13x set and I'm ok with it. As for Pd nib, currently missing a 134 with Pd nib. I do have my 13x in long ink window (at least the expensive ones are all long ink window..) Have not dabbled into the 12x as they are mightily difficult to find from Australia... As for striated ones, I do have a few but they are incomplete and some of mine are quite ambered.

Best regards, Kai

Thank you for your appreciative comments. Have always wanted to buy the Ramses and Nickolai 146s for some time but my watch collecting hobby put it on the back burner. Late last year I told myself 'you'll be turning 56 in Jan 2015, if not now then when'. And so it came to pass. Glad I did. My favourite MBs to date.

Stay well,

Solomon

After many months of patient searching for a Simplo safety filler, I finally found one that ticked most all of the boxes. I will be expecting a nice No. 4 safety filler in the next few weeks.

Here are the seller, Lutz's, pictures. I will be posting pics here and on my Instagram when I receive the pen.

Thank you both, Bernardo and Per! I'm really looking forward to it, as it is the start of my safety pen collection.

I'm also tempted to get one of Max's replica snake clips for it, but we'll see.

That's a good looking pen. Try it without the clip for a while to see how you like it.

Also, please write a review of the pen for those of us still shopping. :)
