Very nice color coordination! I love that they're making some leather products outside of the black color group. I love that blue but I don't like the saffiano leather :/ I hope you enjoy them both!

I just received my Misterstück 90 Years Solitaire Classique rollerball (wow that's a mouth full!) in the mail today. It is a BEAUTIFUL piece. I also got some of their new fineliners, Barbados Blue in broad tip. I used to have a Barbados Blue rollerball but the ink color did not flow well at all. Hopefully being a felt tip, it will be better than the rollerball.

MB Coral 246

MB Black wartime 234 1/2 with steel nib.

MB Black 236

MB Black 12

Pelikan 100 wartime with CN nib

A like-new Burgundy color 144 with an Italic nib that I found at one of my local antique shops. Very much a surprise finding at this particular shop and at a reasonable price. Then I was able to wrangle 20% off that price and home it went with me. Heck, it would have come home with me if I wasn't able to negotiate. And if I knew how, I'd post some pictures of it here.

I just snagged an incorrectly labeled 161 (it was called a 162 by the seller). Claimed great condition, a return if not, and $190 shipped including box and papers.

For some reason I fell in love with this backpack! So far it seems to be pretty durable. I haven't tried testing it with a flamethrower yet, but I've been drenched by rain a few times and it has held up pretty well http://i.imgur.com/aP9056W.jpg

Congrats! I was thinking about the same backpack. I hope you can comment on the practicality of the backpack and build quality.

Oh, that is so lovely! I have a comparable MB 244 set, consisting of fountain pen with EF nib and the matching mechanical pencil, also in a nice, old case.

I am glad that I am not the only one who likes these small MB leather cases, they used to be £15-20 in Germany, just 5 years ago, they are now sought after at £50, you can understand why in that old MBs just look plain wrong in a modern case. I am pleased that I have some spares.

In the last Madrid Pen Show I bought a MB 234 1/2 wartime FP and a pretty Solitaire sterling silver Barleycorn 164-S ballpoint pen. The 234 1/2 FP is now at the repair's (needed a new cork and complete revision). I'll show pics when I get it back.

In the last Madrid Pen Show I bought a MB 234 1/2 wartime FP and a pretty Solitaire sterling silver Barleycorn 164-S ballpoint pen. The 234 1/2 FP is now at the repair's (needed a new cork and complete revision). I'll show pics when I get it back.

Thanks da vinci. I enjoyed it too, though there were no many things that grasped my attention this year. My preferences are diverse. Vintage Montblanc pens but also Parker and Sheaffer NOS stuff from the 60s.
