Seems to be a quintet, congrats.

Thanks Opooh.

I was really pleased to get the Ramses and Citrine which can be hard to find. Making some progress with collecting all the 144/145/Classique variants now.

The Hemmingway has been a longed for pen for sometime. This one has a broad nib, and the pen has matched my expectations.

Just obtained a Sterling Silver 146 in the barley corn pattern (marked W. Germany) from a trade. For a pen that is at least 25 years old, it's in great shape!

That is a lovely 146 shuuemura. The silver adds some heft to the pen in my experience.

A lovely group of3 quality pens in your picture :)

How well does it take ink? mine feathers and has show through :(

Hi,

As promised an update of the notebook. Have written a few pages. Experience so far are good. The first lines I wrote were with a 149 B nib filled with midnight blue and the other lines I wrote with a fine nib with royal blue.

No bleed through and it doesn't feather at all.

The notebook I have has silver lining and a silver Montblanc star on each page. Do you have the same one?

My preferred supplier (no affiliation just a very happy customer):

Appelboom

Congrats that you got your favorite pens! The Ramses & Citrine are also pens I''ve been longing for.

Waiting on a 22 in the mail right now. Huge fan of pens of that era and style, so I'm excited.

10 years on PFN! I feel old, but not as old as my pens.

Inked up: Wing Sung 618 - BSB / PFM III - Kiri-same / Namiki Falcon - Storia Fire / Lamy 2000 - Fuyu-gaki / Sheaffer Triumph - Eclat de Saphir

I have a 24 from the same series, and they are nice pens.

Very good writers too.

Just purchased an NOS 2001 Patron of Art - Marquise de Pompadour from Montblanc boutique in Hong Kong. What a lovely pen.

Indeed it is! Please post pics of your purchase when it arrives so we can share the joy! :)

Glad to see another member from HK. If I were right, you get it from the MB boutique at Admiralty.

Just did a BIN on ebay for what I think is a 164 ballpoint. $79 shipped with a leather pen case from a NY thrift shop. If it's a 161, I'll be thrilled.

Bought 2 more 149s this week. One is an 18c nib likely from the 1970s, the other a 14k from the 1980s. Looking forward to seeing their condition.
