I have a date with a Heritage 1912 on Sunday :) too excited

I got the 1912 too, inspired by the 1914, which I can't afford :notworthy1:

I also recently purchased the 1912. I was at a MB Boutique earlier this week to buy some Oyster Grey ink -- seems like a good combination.

Congrats, it is a great pen.

Thanks buddy! Guess what? Couldn't wait until Sunday.. Found myself next to the MB boutique while following my wife around in the mall, so I excuse myself and came out 15 mins later with a nice little bag!

That's exactly what happened to me. It is 1913 btw. Knew can never afford one but loved the overall concept so went for it. But I don't plan opening the box until my birthday two weeks from now :)

Congrats! :) I was just going to ask what ink do you think we should give the honor of first dip? Oyster agrey I reserve and prefer to one of my 149s. I was thinking Permanent Grey or Black. Any ideas?

My most recent purchase and last purchase for a while is a 234 1/2 PL set that was listed in the classifieds here. Looking forward to it. That PL celluloid is just too nice looking.

Thank you :) it wrote brilliantly and it's much heavier than I expected, nice!

I see you have the same? What's your favorite ink color for this particular one?

Mine is also a great writer. Yes, it is a heavy pen, something like 48 grams. As for ink colour I am rather enjoying the MB Balzac at the moment. I also like the toffee brown in this pen.

Here is my new 1912 with a bottle of Oyster Grey ink. I had bought a demo 1912 at the DC pen show at a good price. Upon getting it home, I looked at it under a loupe and noted a tiny chip in the lacquer. I returned it the next day and bought this one at a MB Boutique last week.
