Got this 234 with an alloy nib in the mail today.

It's a nice "semi-flex" writer...was supposedly a fine which may be correct but there was no mention of it being an oblique . Good thing I like obliques.

Well I picked up my latest MB today. Quite excited about using this as it has OB3 signature nib. The other nice touch which really tops it off is the mop egg splat. Was lucky enough to own a 149 in two tone gold last year but had a 'standard' cap star and a med nib so everyone has one of those so it had to go !

Howdo Pavoni. Was intending to downsize the 'fleet' and was making progress (well . . .sold one) but this came on the radar and you know how it is. The nib, whilst an oblique fan, is way above the width I normally go for but as a signature pen it takes some beating. Come to think of it I dont sign much anymore

 

Not inked it yet but will get back with a writing sample at some point.

I have recently received my O3B nib in the 90th anniversary edition. Much too broad for daily notes and at first I thought this would be my first "trophy" pen rather than a "writer's" pen, but it seems to be quite usable for italic writing. The O3B nib is a delight to use, very smooth and good flow, provided you use it at the right angle.

I guess the nib could be called a stub at least, perhaps a hint of cursive italic?
