Thanks for the compliments... it's a custom 139 using a 149 nib and feed. Clip and band are 14k yellow gold; twin rings are 14k white gold.

Too many pens; too little writing.

I've adopted a new 146 (OM nib)... my first MB. I bought it at the boutique in San Diego last week.

Too many pens; too many inks. But at least I've emptied two ink bottles now.

Thank you for sharing!

I'd love to see some additional pictures of that pen (especially of the filling knob and mechanism).

Cheers

Promise I will do so when it comes to be refilled. May not be for quite a while though: it's a vacuum-filler and holds a HUGE amount of ink...

Arrived today, Boheme platinum, big size, F nib. I was not expecting it to be that chunky, but chunky it is!

Just arrived today from Germany, my much anticipated MB 134 (long window) and a lovely MB 136. Don't you just love this series!

I am awaiting what appears to be an older 149 (nib is bi-color 14k). I just received a Starwalker. I also have a 144 on the way. These new additions get to keep my Meisterstuck ballpoint, Meisterstuck rollerball, Generation fountain pen and Generation rollerball company...

Since I stupidly sold my Bordeaux 146 about 9 years ago... I will have to find a 146 once I get over this spending spree....

...... please tell us about Lutz Fiebig.

He is a restorer in Magdeburg, Germany, who does a lot of work for MB on their vintage pens. He is a member of the penboard team, and a colleague of Tom Westerich. Go look at their website for some really incredible FP stuff. Lutz also has his own company, interpens.

Sidestreaker, that OB nib really looks amazing! I have one on my Fitzgerald and I have to say I'm hooked.

Which was the reason for my latest purchase: a "John Lennon" with an OBB nib. Beautiful large nib, juicy writer, love it as much as the Fitzgerald.

Read more about me, my pens, photography & so on my little blog
