Very nice collection ipodimusprime! Are you going to continue to hunt down other varieties :)

Thank you. Yes, I'll continue to look for others as they turn up for auction. I would like a silver one with an amethyst stone next if possible. I got most of these at a pretty decent price given how much the retail price is for them. I'm also avoiding overseas sellers as I'll get slapped with large customs charges!

I'll just keep my eye out for ones as they are offered for auction. I've been collecting other brands too so my wallet could do with a rest!

I know how easy it is to get hooked - see my "minor collection" post! Good luck!

Very nice collection you have!

Sadly, I know what you mean about getting hooked. Ever since I started collecting in January, I have gone a bit overboard. I only intended to get a Caran d"Ache pen and maybe a Starwalker as I thought I would treat myself and had always wanted one of these pens. Well, after a chat at my local pen shop I have over the last few months amassed a load of stuff - I hadn't even heard of some of the brands before this year! Anyway, off to scour evil bay for more bargains................

Greetings everybody,

these two guys has just joined the Meisterstück crowd in my collection. Actually, I did not consider the Starwalkers as the objects of my desire, but I had the chance to take one in my hand, and the result is the two new pens :-)

I really like the color of the Cool Blue fountain pen, looking in different light conditions it is changing and shows a new shade... stunning. I do miss the Jules Verne - the only special edition I ever wanted to purchase - I did not purchase when I had the chance, and this looks somehow familiar.

It is a pleasant writer, I have inked with MB royal blue cartridges, and I am happy with the smooth behaviour. Also, this is my first pen which was designed to be capped. Usually, I write uncapped, but I gave a try when realized the thread at the top. I am trying different papers, and I am very happy with the balance of the pen, to my surprise.

Having read that the Cool Blue is not in production anymore makes it more valuable for me. Actually I was looking the Midnight Black version fp and bp, but I think made a better choice with the Cool Blue/Rose Gold combo (only fineliners were available in midnight black, I might consider adding one to this set...).

I like the rose gold colored pens in the recent editions, the inevitable 149 (missing from my collection) might come in this color... :-)

Modern 149, with OB(?) nib.
I hope it'll be as good as it seemed.

Last week in Paris I bought a Starwalker in black with rose gold and an 8 pen collectors box.
