I recently bought a new one of these - Meisterstuck Geometric Dimension. Friggin' gorgeous pen, and I LOVE the OBB nib. At first I thought about changing it, but now I am completely in love with what is possible. It's become my favorite writer for the time being.

This is my favorite pen! I'm looking for the Doue version because it is much less expensive than the full design. Congrats on a wonderful pen!!

Thanks. The pen showed up a day after my daughter was born, so I didn't get to use it much at first. I've been journaling my first days as a parent with it, though, and am absolutely loving it.

Only one question about the box. I thought the solitaires come in a big squared box. Of course I can be wrong because I don't own one (yet).

As for the rectangular box, this is the original it shipped in. I'm thankful for that really, as I find large boxes to be kind of annoying... you can't get rid of them because it reduces collectability, but they aren't all that useful either because they take up too much space and are hard to open if you want to store your pens in them. (I have the same problem with the packaging Leica uses for its M cameras... definitely form over function).

 

My MBs came in reasonably sized boxes, but I also I have a terrific Namiki Maki-e that shipped in a gigantic wooden box. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, but isn't especially practical.

Thanks Lordarka. I am really pleased with the quality of these pens. The case is also done to a high standard and is rather nice to behold.
