I've got a sealed Octavian with fine nib coming from Germany on the 8th and a 146 75th with mop coming tomorrow-- no box or papers on this one(ebay buy- crossing fingers). I'm pretty excited about the Octavian.

Both fantastic choices! I am jealous. :-)

Just got my L'Aubrac on Saturday. I have to admit, that this pen is really special. The feel of wood and the great details are just stunning. I

decided for an OBB nib, and was afraid, as this is my first oblique. Turns out I feel more comfortable than with regular nibs...

Congrats!

I got a 146 last week and won a Mark Twain yesterday - that leaves Verne and Faulkner to complete the WE collection that i want.

True bliss: knowing that the guy next to you is suffering more than you are.

I bought a MB leather collector's box. I thought about doing a mini-review on it at some point...

It is quite nice!

I am really pleased with this latest pen. I seem to be developing a small collection of the 144/145/classique sized pens. I find them to be incredibly comfortable to write with, nib performance is consistently excellent, and I am a fan of the c/c filling system which is the most convenient for me.

No. It's only gold plated.

Gold pens are :

Montblanc 1276 - solid gold 14 ct , chased

Montblanc 1286 - solid white-gold 14 ct , chased

Montblanc 1296 - solid gold 18 ct , chased

Silver pen is Montblanc 1266 - sterling silver, chased

I have gold plated MB 1246.

A # 42 Spanish made piston filler from the 50's. I will post pictures once it arrives.

I have received my first MB yesterday. Nothing fancy - just a nice Turbo. I prefer the sleek industrial-looking pens from 70s/80s so this was an obvious choice. After cleaning it I put some Iroshizuku ku-jaku in the converter and... WOW, this nib is fantastic! And it's just steel.

So it was supposed to be the only MB in my collection, but now I am tempted to try the gold nibs on some modern MBs. Gosh, why do I have to live so close to a MB boutique...

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever
