I got my first messenger recently I needed a rugged and waterproof bag for the bike commute, so decided against a dressy bag like yours. but I love mine. I would like to get a dressier bag one day, Perhaps you could show us more pictures and a review of your bag?

It's a Timbuk2 Especial - fantastic technical waterproof messernger.

 

I agree with Orfew - Montblanc pen owners enjoy other MB gear.

The only thing i don't like of the Montblanc leather is the how it looks over padded, atl east the wallets

Thank you Blade Runner! And Yes! It is the Meisterstück soft grain, which just showed up on their website a few weeks ago which is why I bought it. It is definitely thicker but the normal Meisterstück line with the "deep shine" black leather is definitely not padded. Very very thin and quite firm unlike the soft grain. That is the case with the pen pouch. I was very surprised at how thin it is and stiff. Gotta break it in with my Legrand for a while

This is the newest MB out there it's simply called The Bamboo. I picked it up awhile back when I was visiting Nepal. The Dali lama and I were browsing around in MBs newest boutique. I spotted this little gem and had to have it.

Didn't mean to imply they were padded, just that they look padded , or puffy, or maybe i just don't quite like black, it didn't jump at me like wow like the notebook holder with pen loop i got, but that is also cognac color and not black. I only like small wallets and the store didn't have the vertical 4cc or the 6cc pocket one, the large ones just didn't do it for me, there's the business card ones but they're a bit thick due to the large compartment with a gusset for the business cards.

 

Too bad the line of the notebook holder i got is discontinued, it had a small wallet as well in soft italian leather and cognac color.

Well today i wen't to the boutique to get some blue ink, ended up with the new permanent blue, and the old iron gall blue-black

 

Borrowed their loupe and couldn't find anything wrong with the nib on the 149 so left it with them to get an estimate on getting it adjusted.

 

 

This 1$ pad is quite decent, too bad the blue-black it still sucks on the MB notebook it is better than the bordeaux or emerald inks though it still feathers.
