Got a MB 236 not to long ago and sent it off to fountainbel to work his magic on it. Nice flex EF nib on it too. Only disappointing part is that it does not have the telescoping piston mechanism, but it can still hold about 2ml of ink. So not too bad. I'm also getting the last of the iron gall Midnight Blue in Canada. Happy and sad at the same as my favorite is not longer available in the waterproof version. :crybaby:

Purchased a nicely used Le Grand 161 BP for jotting at work.

I always wanted one of those. Is it a comfortable pen for long writing sessions?

Francis is great. I would love to see some pictures of your 236.

My most recent MB purchase was Le Grand No.146. Although it was purchased used from the classified section here, the condition was mint. Very happy with it.

Congrats! What size nib? Who was the seller? Always good to know of reputable sellers.

MB 149 with 18c EF nib. Just arrived yesterday, lubed the piston and filled with Yama Guri today. Makes a nice pair with my 14c BB.

In the post today I received my first Meisterstuck. Wasn't sure at the time of ordering what exact model or era it was from (other than it was an older Meisterstuck) but after a little detective work I figured out it was a 144 and I think I've narrowed it to '80s or very early '90s. The pen itself just says Germany but the converter inside says W. Germany.

The pen was unused although the case was a bit scratched and the outer cardboard box was torn, still, for $260AUD I didn't think that was too bad (no expert though).

My hands are on the bigger side and I always feel comfortable with slightly oversized pens. I really did not use it for long sessions, indeed I don't remember myself jotting more than a few sentences during any session for my entire work life :) But it feels so good in the hand during meetings. :)

I bought a bottle of black MB ink today. And looking forward to receiving a new 146 in the mail, this time with a fine nib, to try this ink. I have never used a MB ink before, always used Parker Quinks and Diamines, I can't wait to see how it's like.

Just ordered my first fountain pen. A gold plated & black resin Meisterstück classique with Fine nib (cartridge). Hoping the nib suites me, since I have no local store to try them out :(

I keep thinking about selling some of my pens but all that happens is I keep acquiring more!

Just purchased the Montblanc LeGrand propelling pencil. It is superb and compliments my 146 fountain pen and ballpoint pen :D

A platinum facets le grand with an EF nib. It's my most recent, but it's quickly become one of my very favorite pens. Top 3!
