Today I have joined the '149' club. I am testing it now. So far I love the EF nib and am using the free Royal Blue ink that came with it. Superb :)

The latest buy for me was the Meissen 146 in white. I have been eyeing this pen since it came out in 2011 (or 2010).

A vintage 332 and 333 a couple of weeks ago

And then yesterday, a used 149. Should be with me tomorrow.

My most expensive pen purchase! Bar a new Starwalker BP for £150 all my other purchases have been sub £100 so I'm a little nervous! I suspect it may be the start of a slippery slope.

Lets hope it writes well.

The piston mechanism was broken, so back for a refund.

Oh well, disappointed, but I'll try again.

Not counting a vintage 146 this morning, my most recent MB purchase is my Meisterstück Solitaire Doué LeGrand. Just LOVE this pen.

Oh well, disappointed, but I'll try again.

I sent the last one back, got a refund, and found another - a few £ cheaper as well. Faith restored!

I'm going to post a few pics of my whole MB collection in another thread.

I am very jealous of this thread. Not only are all of your MB's magnificent, but some of you have truly wonderful photography. I don't have the equipment nor talent to show off my goods like they deserve.

I am quite proud to finally be a part of this thread. I gifted myself a Meisterstück 6CC wallet as an early Christmas present. The quality exceeded my expectations. I feel we don't have enough wallets in this thread. Here are the pictures in no particular order(I don't have pictures of the gift wrapping or box, as I was very excited to open this beauty).

Very nice. I have almost pulled the trigger on one of these a couple of times. I just might have to do a little christmas shopping for myself.

I was actually gifted that same wallet or one very sinilar by a loved one years ago. It's held up in my back pocket through masonry, demolition, mechanic work, welding and even jumping in the ocean once. Great workmanship and materials.
