Congrats sunnerd that is a gorgeous pen, how does it write ?

Thanks! It writes smooth, as a Montblanc F nib is supposed to be. :)

Wow, sunnerd. Your photographs are superb and really bring out the character of the 1912. Stunning. Another beauty to add to that :puddle: :puddle: :puddle: collection of yours. I hope it meets your every expectation.

Many thanks for sharing so magnificently.

Sunnerd, congratulations! A real beauty. I can almost see the time when that Heritage 1912 will become a highly collectible vintage pen ;-)

All my nibs so far are "Fine," and having recently decided to attempt calligraphy I just bought a Lamy 1.5 Nib to use of one of my Safari pens. Once it arrives in the mail I plan to use it with Sheaffer Skrip Brown ink. Meanwhile I'm reading a how-to book, LOL.

Just got home from Newport, RI so I finally got a chance to write with my new 136. I have also shown it with my 138, Pelikan 400NN Tortoise and my new Meisterstück Selection pen case. I have included my Instagram and FPGeeks names so as to let you know its me when I post these pictures elsewhere.

Gorgeous pens, and equally gorgeous shots to accompany them, MiamiArchStudent. :puddle: As always, I'm jealous! I would post pics of my new 234 1/2 but need to take better pictures. I don't know if you mentioned this on another thread, but do you have a preferred seller for these? Anyone you'd recommend?

Thank you, Paloma. You should post pictures of your 234 1/2, I'm far from the best product photographer but I try.

For my vintage MBs, I like erfobay on ebay, the classifieds here and various online sites like Penopoly and penboard.de. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I was just wondering if it was the usual suspects or other sites, since your MBs look like they're in perfect condition. I haven't checked Penopoly in a while. I will post better pictures later this week probably :)

You're welcome! Its pretty much the usual suspects. As of right now Penopoly has some nice 23x series pens for sale.

Well, not my last buy, but at least its the first time I show this pen MB 126 full sterling 925 with a medium 750 nib very wet, it was a long shot I got this from a ebay seller from Indonesia and take a long time to reach me, one happy ending, the overall condition is good the piston works great, but I have to send it over nibs.com to take care of the cleaning and and a small leaking, i'm happy I don't see many of those around. best regards.

Hi Francis,

I think I have found what you are looking for. :)

I have no affiliation with the seller of the pen.

I've always used fine point nibs, but when the Lamy 1.5mm nib arrived yesterday I absolutely fell in love with the look. So today I ordered Lamy's 1.9mm nib. I intend to use the 1.5 regularly--that is when I'm not trying to write quickly, and I plan to use the 1.9 when I start my calligraphy exercises. I'm amazed at how much better my handwriting appears with the broad nib.
