Congratulations Idazle on your 136. It is a great looking pen and your writing and drawing with it are fantastic. I have purchased many MB's from Lutz and he has a great reputation.

Thanks!!!!!! :)

farmdogfan, that striated MB 142 is absolutely beautiful, and if it writes as you like I must congratulate you on your acquisition!

Thank you very much idazle, it fits fine in my hand (when posted) and the EF nib is very smooth but not very flexible.

I've got a MB 242 Tiger's Eye and although it fits better in the hand when posted, I'm scared to spoil it by doing so. What do you think?

I have really not much choice when it comes to a 142 or 144, they are simply too short to fit comfortably in my hand, i don´t think much harm will come to the pen if posted carefully without using brute force.

Today i got a green striated 142, a nice little pen, and it writes very nice and smooth.

Love the color on that 142, congrats on such a great find.

My last acquisition: an allegedly wartime Montblanc 136 (ca 1941) from Lutz Fiebig (Penboard.de):

Carlos, your pics of the 136 are great! Glad the pen writes the way you like.

Thank you both you very much.

Fountainbel, i would not call it mint but in nice shape considering how old it is.

@farmdogfan : I love the green striated 142. I think the striated pens are some of the most beautiful MB ever made.

idazle: The start of your vintage collection is fun to watch. You have a wonderful start. ;)

LOL that is what my wife says. This is usually followed by something like "You do not have to justify your newest pen to me. You can afford it so go ahead. But I am not buying the everybody else is jumping off the bridge excuse" :P

Erdekes. I suppose it was only a matter of time before that store would close. It clearly wasn't busy enough and MB have been closing a number of boutiques over the years. You are right about the employees there, they were refreshingly helpful. Shame :( .

I know the Reálszisztéma shop opposite (lots of luggage!). They used to sell MB items before the boutique opened but nothing like the range in the boutique. I seem to remember there being a little shop in the Mammut Shopping Centre and I am sure they had one or two MB items there! Nem baj.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your new MB 146 now that you have one with an 'F' nib.

Pavoni.

thanks

I enjoyed the old one as well just did not use it for some reasons. but after reading through the forums here, I understood that collecting pens is not a disease ... :-)

looking at the beautiful vintage pens here in this topic made the appetite for those as well..

Got this one today:

I am not sure which model it is.

I think a 134 with wrong blindcap

Lenght capped: 12,6 cm

Uncapped: 12,1 cm

Any help would really be appreciated

And what would be the approx value of this pen? (not wanting to resell at the moment, but it is always good to know)
