I always use my Pentel Graph 1000

It is a great and robust mechanical pencil and it costs about 16-17$! I've always used it for the last 5 years, without any problem! I can strongly recommend it!

Currently my fav mechanical pencil is a 1920's Parker Duofold, it uses 1.3mm lead which is quite thick : )

I didn't realize that there was lead as wide as 1.3 mm out there. I have a tiny Victorian pencil that I bet needs something like that. I've never been able to find a lead wide enough for it.

I found that my Eversharp pencils take a 1.1mm lead like these ones.
