hey fellows, just discussed minimum content reqiure in France for gold nibs.

But with plenty search over Internet, I couldn't find any specific law or standard article about that, so could you please show one?

Here is what I have found:

1. Hallmark

Eagle head hallmark represents an item that has tested to be constructed of a minimum 18k or 750/1000 parts gold.

2.Minimum gold content reqiurement

In France, the UK, Austria, Portugal and Ireland, 9 carat is the lowest caratage permitted to be called gold.

3.Domestic use or export

An eagle's head indicates a gold purity of at least 18-karat. The Law requires all gold jewellery to have a minimum purity of 18-karat, items that are intended for export may be marked with the pictorial marks for 9 and 14-karat.
