Well, they started off with Diamine Imperial Purple, but I've been prepping and cooking all afternoon, so they're clean now, thanks to repeated applications of Lava soap. ;)

I currently have Diamine Sargasso Sea, I believe it's called, on my fingers. For some reason, I normally manage to avoid ink on fingers when writing except when using my new pen, and it's never on the tips of my fingers where I hold the pen, more around my knuckles. I have no idea how I'm managing that lol.

Dragon's Napalm. It's been there for three days now.

After filling my grading pen successfully without getting it on my hands, I managed to play with the pen's blind cap (Noodler's Konrad, original resin type, red demonstrator) and unscrew the filler partially, causing the pen to burp...

On my hands, the desk, and the paper....

Looked like a murder scene from a low budget film.....

Mont Blanc Oyster grey.

It actually just gives the impressions your hands are dirty after some work in the garden...

Oh, just a touch of Pansy from the Diamine Flowers collection ;) It's quite pretty, so I don't mind.

I have to admit that I prefer having that Herbin's poussière de lune in my converter than on my fingers .... However, two of them are tinted purple ....

De Atramentis Scented Apple Blossom

Now my fingers are dark pink (and they really don't smell like apple blossoms...some kind of a medicinal smell).

I always get a kick out of these "no affiliation" notations when it's blatantly obvious the poster has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, company, etc. beyond being a customer. It must be a feel-good/feel-important thing. So I'll note up front that nothing I write here on this forum is influenced by any financial-gain motivation.

Currently a diluted Edelstein Tanzanite -- I just received an ink shipment from Goulet and decided to fill my Waterman Taperite with ... wait for it .. Waterman Serenity [Florida] Blue. Presuming I can persuade the Taperite's nib to forsake the Tanzanite, it's quite stubborn about it and has been summarily banished to the ultrasonic cleaner for it's intransigence.

J. Herbin Rouge Hematite

I dropped my TWSBI on the tile floor, and while it miraculously did not break, I coated my left index finger with ink when I examined the nib to make certain it was all right.
