I took my 30ml bottle of Diamine Green Black for a test drive today. NICE, I think this will be replacing the Delamere for the next little while.

Slightly embarrassing: they are antifouling blue... yuck! But my little sailing boat is looking better every weekend. A bit more polishing and in 14 days she'll be good to go.

Mostly Toffee Brown, in my MB 420. The MB 32 is still filled with Royal Blue. I'm going on holiday for a couple of weeks so I thought I'd ink up my MB 221 with the last of my Lamy Blue-Black ig.

Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. I always end up getting it all over no matter how careful I am.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Yesterday, thanks to an accident decanting the stuff into one of my vintage Skrip bottles, (after I'd already picked up a few stains of it, cleaning the "safety jar" for my "travel" bottle), my whole hand was Sheaffer blue. Right about the time I should have been sitting down to dinner, too. And that's after I'd already picked up some Pelikan turquoise and some Sheaffer brown during the day.

I wasn't paying attention and dumped the pen too far into a vial.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Oh, and I almost forgot: my spill happened on my roughly-47-year-old dresser (I got it, and my bed, brand new, when I was at a single-digit age). On a corner where the lacquer was just about worn off. One of these years, both are going to get refinished, and at this rate, probably stained a shade darker.

Today it's Pilot blue-black. I picked up the little bottle in a local shop with ink, and it's not a bad color at all. It got on my fingers from my "51", which is apparently leaking. Haven't figured that out yet.
