I always get a kick out of these "no affiliation" notations when it's blatantly obvious the poster has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, company, etc. beyond being a customer. It must be a feel-good/feel-important thing. So I'll note up front that nothing I write here on this forum is influenced by any financial-gain motivation.

Had fun this morning... MB Alfred Hitchcock, MB Ink of Joy, MB Black, PR Tropical Blue and J Herbin Lie de Thé all left a tiny trace on my fingers. Now at work, running the risk of ol' faithful Waterman Florida Blue on my fingers.

Got sloppy inking up my new TWSBI Vac 700 and now I have PR American Blue colored fingers and thumb. Despite washing up there's a turquoise blue dye component that just hangs in there.

Diamine Pansy. Purty.

Oh my, I need to slow down when I read because I saw "Diane's Pansy P***y" and I was shocked that anyone would dye their cat purple.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Tsuki-yo. I just put the last of my sample vial into my ink cartridge, and it... bubbled. >_< It came off my palm okay but half of my fingertips are still stubbornly blue. It's a pretty colour, so I don't actually mind that much!

It's 51 washin' day today, so my fingers are multicolored...

Parker Blue with Solv-X, Sheaffer Permanent Red, and PR Ebony Green. There's also a little bit of black left from repairing the one I bought yesterday at the antique mall.

I like the Ebony Green the best... :)

I've cleaned and filled three pens this morning with Diamine Tulip, Havana Brown and Rouille d'Ancre without getting any ink on myself, but I've just noticed that one of my fingers has a pale purple splodge, and I can't work out where the heck it came from.

MB Alfred Hitchcock. Never seem to be able to avoid it, even if it's just a tiny smudge.

Practice session this morning: Private Reserve Tropical Blue on my left hand, from moving the paper about while writing, doing drills etc.

  • 2 weeks later...

Noodler's Blue-Black, after discovering my LAMY Safari's converter loosened ever so slightly before I pulled it from my pocket. No bleeding out though, which is nice since this discovery came about in a grocery store.

Cult Pens Deep Dark Blue and Diamine Sargasso Sea. I'm slowly turning into a tie-dye smurf.
