Ever since last night I've got da blues... PR DC Supershow Blue, that is.

I didn't know the Waterman I was trying to ink had a pinhole in the sac, but I do now

Diamine Beethoven just happened to burp out of a vac fil Sheaffer Balance after being in my pocket for awhile. Did not notice until after writing a few lines on the page.

So far, they are clean, but lately my Sailor seems intent on smudging my fingers and thus I run the risk of getting Private Reserve Dakota Red on my fingers.

Sheaffer Blue-Black because if a friend sends you ink samples, you just have to use every last drop of it, right? Although I do think the ink works better on paper than my fingers.

Someone on eBay sent me inks without stopper in the lid.

Even sent only 3 bottles while I paid for 5 bottles.

But never apologize...

I feel sorry.

A couple dots of a mix of Sheaffer Turquoise and Noodler's X-Feather. Nice dusky color that *really* sticks!

There's a line of Noodler's Shah Rose on the tip of my left index finger, from checking to see if a pen needed to be refilled yet. Other than that, today has been relatively, well, unremarkable.

So far, anyway....

I guess that, today, the Sailor won... I'll have my revenge later today, when I flush and clean it.

Well, I washed my hair earlier today, so the fingers are currently ink-free. But before that there was a lovely smudge of PR DC Supershow Blue on my left index finger from filling a pen from a sample vial (actually filling the converter and then reinserting it, because I don't think that there wasn't quite enough left in the vial to cover the nib -- but *was* enough for the converter...).

PR Ebony Purple. Love that colour! I'm half-way through the bottle already. I'm starting to think of ink as a finishing touch, like fingernail polish!

Noodler's Eel Turquoise. Was so very careful with the full bottle, and had supplies at the ready. Thought I completed the task of filling unscathed, only to find a drop had somehow transferred from bottle rim to my thumb. Oh well.

I seem to be developing a collection. Is there a cure?
