What Color Are Your Fingers Today?

GouletPens

Murisaki-shikibu - beautiful ink, both on paper and in a demonstator. Not too shabby on fingers and kitchen counter, either.

(Note to self: don't refill pens before coffee.)

A tiny bit of Diamine Syrah from a nice, old OB nib.

Loads more Syrah, from the same nib. I wasn't quite happy with it, found it a bit too dry and decided to tinker with it. It seems better now.

Diamine Syrah with a small patch of Rohrer and Klingner Smaragdgrun. It's an oddly enjoyable combination!

Well, so far today it's just green. Noodler's Army Green (reformulated color) to be precise. Not entirely sure how it ended up on both my index finger AND thumb, though....

I had been trying to finish up the fill in my Platinum Plaisir and was trying to get through the last page of my morning pages journal for today. It's not like I don't like the color (I really do -- I think it's maybe going to end up as my go-to green). But I have all these other ink samples to still try (some from the summer order!) and only so many pens.

Plus, I want it in the pen, and on paper -- not my fingers..... :glare:

This morning was spent cleaning several pens for storage, preparing for the

next rotation of pens. I also flushed a bunch of used ink cartridges, about

thirty. I filled some with ink for the coming season. So, I thought to don

rubber gloves.

My fingers are clean >> a soft, natural, pale pink of skin that matches my

rosy complexion. (My T-shirt has been trashed, though.)

I'm going out for a banana split. Wanna join me ?

Always a little splash of BSB (😳) combined with a touch of PR Tanzanite today (on my neck - 😏) - apparently it looks like a bruise - interesting.
