What Color Are Your Fingers Today?

PARK-BENCH-GREEN !

I keep a bit of bleach solution at hand for ink-finger clean-up.

So, the stain on my fingers is seldom ink. However, I am the

galaxie's designate to test the veracity of all "wet peint" signs.

Those things are diabolical! . :bonk:

Bad Belted Kingfisher.

Bought it recently, but the line seems a bit wider than I expected on my Lamy fine. I'll flush it and fill it with the last ink I used (actually my only other bottle of ink) Black Swan in Australian Roses.

I expect to be two-toned by the end of the day

I have gotten really good at filling my pen, but I managed to get a spot of Aurora Blue on me yesterday. I borrowed a fill from my roommate and it is a nice blue. I think it would work good in a business world, but it is a little dull for my tastes. I am picky with my blues.

Alert the media! I have finally managed to fill a pen and keep my fingers clean! I just filled my Delta button filler and I see no trace of ink. Had I been my usual ham-fisted self, some of my skin would have been sporting Noodler's Black.

They day is not yet over. I received a bottle of Rome is Burning in the mail this past Saturday and I'm going to fill something with it before the end of the day. Would have done it sooner, but our little Grace received her First Holy Communion this weekend. Four down, three to go . . .

I did fill a pen with Noodler's Rome is Burning. And I got some on my fingers. The spots turned purple when I washed my hands.

The pen writes better if you make a mess, right? RIGHT?

Yama Budo.

finished the cart and had to clean it. Okay, so there was a bit left, but I was craving something else.

Also a little Ebony Green because I wasn't paying attention.

All I want is 1 more pen, and 1 more bottle of ink, and maybe 1 more pad of paper. Well, at least until tomorrow. Oh yeah, and throw in that bottle of single malt. Is that asking for too much?

thanks Chris.

Aurora Black...hairline crack in a section of a Waterman Phileas...amazing how much ink comes out of a hairline crack!

Black: noodler's x-feather & black, aurora, sailor nano, platinum carbon, and edelstein. Went through all of these in an attempt to find which would work the best with a nakaya xxf nib (in terms of flow and lubricity). None gave the result I was hoping for...

I prepared to ink my newly-arrived, green-striped, Pelikan M600 by wiping the cap and

bottle rim of Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue. Then, I folded and slipped the paper

towel into my pocket. I don't litter. My pens love this ink.

I decided to bring into the office my twenty-can carton of Pepsi Cola to share with

everyone. It was heavy and the outside air was very warm. Fetching the load from

the parking lot, I paused to refresh by blotting cheeks, forehead and neck with cold

water from the fountain. It felt good.

Answer: Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue. Same color as cheeks, forehead and neck.

(I HATE THESE STUPID FOUNTAIN PENS ! Where's the %&//$*@ Clorox ?)

What is it with newly acquired pens and messy fingers? My fingers are Montblanc Black from playing with my MB 244G pen. A wonderful little writer from the late 50s, extra-fine nib with flex. Ink on my left hand only, which I use to hold the cap.
