Noodler's Shah Rose.

Great color, and I like the ink -- no feathering and not too much bleed-through on newsprint when I worked on the Sunday crossword.

But one smudge is right next to my nail, and I'm sure that people at choir tonight are going to think I have a bleeding hangnail.... :headsmack:

No inky fingers because I am using my Mont Blanc Noblesse with MB blue/blackcartridges.

best wishes

I'm boring and have Manuscript black ink on my fingers currently. The worst part is, it's from a cartridge!

I decided some color was the thing for Spring, so here is what I have going today:

no inky fingers for me

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Well, today it's Noodler's Shah Rose (again or still -- I'm not entirely sure which), plus De Atramentis Sherlock Holmes.

Bluish black.

I cleaned up some of the ten old fp's I bought at the easter flea market last weekend. ;)

One of them - as far as I remember it's a danish brand - has never been used.

Today they would have been... *drumroll*

BSB! But I outsmarted it. I dug up latex gloves and wore them to flush my TWSBI. First time I ever wore gloves, I felt like a mad scientist.

And thus, no blue hands for a month.

Oooookay, no more caffeine for me.

Just filled my new Stipula Saturno. And several fingers are now decorated with Noodler's Army Green.

The pen is green ebonite and the ink is a nice match. My wife would be proud - the pen, the ink and my fingers are all nicely coordinated . . .

Yesterday I had Diamine Imperial Purple on my right hand from a leaky cartridge, the same shade of purple on my left hand from chopping a red onion, which matched perfectly with the tatting I was working on in Anchors tatting thread colour 107 :-)

A green-blue, due to dumping 3-4 samples of ink: Sherwood Green, Dark Green, etc. I'm almost free of the Perle Noire that got way under my fingernails last week when I had an ink syringe accident.

I'm down to a tiny sliver of this great gardener's soap (thick, white soft abrasive when wet) I got from Lee Valley years ago; lost the wrapper, they quit carrying it ages ago. With pumice, it gets nearly everything off, though not under the nails...

Loving the color of my fingers: Caran d'Ache Sunset:)!

Quink Blue/Black for my Caran d' Ache 55 Ecridor, but only a little inky from the tissue cleaning up the pen after refilling.

best wishes
