What Color Are Your Fingers Today?

GouletPens

Recommended Posts

My fingers are quite clean today. The Waterman Florida Blue from yesterday washed off easily and I managed not to spill any Akkerman Bekakt Haags. Perhaps later today, as my pen may need a refill.

Slopped some Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses refilling a pen and didn't notice. Surprisingly, water took away the black and left the red. Roses are like that, always making an impression.

As a nice change my hands aren't inky at all today as my new GvFC ivory anello classic FP came without its converter so for the first time since I stopped using my Parker profile I just popped in a cartridge. No fuss no muss.

WTB: the following GvF-C classic FPs (pref. B or OB nib) or rollerballs: platinum plated, gold plated, solid sterling silver, ebony anello and gold anello, PM me!

(also interested in most other GvF-C products in general, i.e any writing tools, leather goods, advertising/packaging)

Actually that's a lie, looking at my hands they are actually stained quite badly with some j.herbin pearle noir that is the result of an accident involving my Visconti traveling inkwell....apparently my classics aren't quite wide enough to safely plug it.

A very, very small spot of ESSRI. I almost managed to fill a pen without a finger stain. Almost.

Noodler's Walnut. My first non-black ink!

It's a great one!

Today it's Pelikan Royal Blue, after putting the new double wall o-rings in my two Ahabs.

My hands are now quite blue - I had a teeny accident while trying to 100% fill my new Ahab with Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. Fortunately, no clothes were ruined.
