Stipula Dark Blue, when topping off before work, had already showered so couldn't avail myself of shampoo trick but vigorous application of scrubby sponge got most of it off.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

This morning it was a little Noodler's Kung Te Cheng.

Oh my! A copious amount of OS Nitrogen, mostly from rinsing the cart or the Sport it had dried in, then a bit from flushing the section/feed. Trying a mix of about 3/2 ink/water to see if it might tame the rapid drying on the nib somewhat. Will leave it overnight and test again, as it's now just coming out blue with no sheen (though it *is* flowing quite nicely, with no skipping or hard starts).

What a pain it is to work with, just trying to keep the counter-top clean.

I'm eagerly anticipating a delicious combination of Noodler's Dragon's Napalm and Private Reserve Spearmint Green later today when I fill some pens.

Latex gloves saved the day, during the pen cleaning/refilling routine.

OTOH, the rug might have a different view of the events. laugh.png

Blue-black (Noodler's Bad Blue Heron) and black (Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin). Hope everyone in the States had a safe, happy Fourth. Cheers!

Nothing so far today -- but yesterday a LOT of Kung Te Cheng (the pen it's currently in has been burping into the cap a lot due to the changes in air pressure, plus it's being finicky. KTC does well when you use the pen it's in exclusively, but then any delays (such as using a different pen or set of pens for a day or two) it gets cloggy and the nib creep is terrible. And it tends to do better if you DON'T refill, but flush between fills. :(

It's very annoying -- because I have yet to find an ink that gives me both the permanence and the amazing unique color.
